Guests at the Hotel Matschner receive their personal summer card at the reception. It is valid for the entire length of stay, including the day of arrival from 1 pm and the day of departure.

Winter vacation in Ramsau am Dachstein

The snowy mountain scenery of the Dachstein massif and the untouched nature will enchant you from the first day of your holiday. Many sports and recreational facilities on site leave nothing to be desired.

Cross country skiing & Biathlon
Ramsau am Dachstein is the cross-country skiing Eldorado of Austria with up to 220 km of trails: 150 km of classic trails and 70 km of skating trails, Fischer Skiletics Park, laser biathlon for guests, children’s cross-country skiing park, 4 km night trails with floodlights, cross-country schools and rental directly in the World Cup cross-country stadium.
Ski Alpin
In the midst of the skiing fun of Ski amadé and the 4-mountain ski circuit with Hauser Kaibling, Planai, Hochwurzen and Reiteralm, Dachstein and Rittisberg. 760 km of slopes with just one ski pass. Family-friendly ski resort Ramsau with Kalis adventure pistes.
Ski tours
The Dachstein and the surrounding mountain landscape are an ideal ski tour area. With Austria’s national ski tour Glacier crossing to Obertraun or Freeride at “Edelgrieß”. A total of 16 ski tours are available in the region.
Fatbiken
Fatbikes with extremely wide balloon tires are perfect for getting on the bike in winter. Take a guided tour with the family and explore the beautiful winter landscape on the bike.
Soft Winter
Winter hiking on 50 km groomed winter hiking trails, romantic sleigh rides during the day or at full moon, tobogganing on the ski trail or night tobogganing on Rittisberg, guided snowshoe hikes.

For example, with the public transport bus of the Ramsauer public transport and discounted fares on Ramsauer trail tickets and an automatic free extension of the weekly trail ticket for your entire stay.
